More than 220 businesses from Japan, Italy, South Africa, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Bulgaria, Thailand, Laos and Việt Nam will promote trade and business links at the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Fairs in the central city on November 18-23.
The International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair is taking place in the central coastal city of Da Nang, featuring 500 booths from more than 360 domestic and international exhibitors.
Lack of information about investment projects and few exchanges among
businesses are seen as hurdles that limit investment and trading between
Russia and the central region.
Viet Nam has been actively co-operating with countries in Greater Mekong
Sub-region (GMS) to develop East-West Economic Corridor, Southern
Economic Corridor and others.
Deals worth VND17.25 billion (US$820,000) were signed at the 2013
International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair,
which came to an end in central Da Nang City on Tuesday.
Over 280 businesses from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Viet Nam will be
participating in the East-West Economic Corridor at the Da Nang
Exhibition Centre on August 8-13, the city''s department of trade and
industry said yesterday.
